| The Corporation is located in Zunyi Economic and Technological Development Zone of Zunyi City¡ªthe famous historic and cultural city. The Corporation is a subsidiary controlled by China Kweichow Moutai Distillery Co., Ltd. Ever since its establishment, the Corporation has been sticking to the corporate spirit of "love Moutai and win honors for our country", and abiding by the corporate guideline of "talent is the essence, quality is the life, benefit comes from management, and market comes from honesty and credit. On the one hand, it starts from the need of adapting itself to the market, developing the market and realizing integration with international practices so as to promote quick and healthy development of the enterprise. It actively carries out the certification of ISO9000, ISO14000 and OHSAS18000, and improves the manage-ment of the quality, environment and occupational health and safety inside the enterp-rise. In Jan. 2003, the Corporation took the lead in passing the integrated certification of the above 3 systems so as to become the sole enterprise in the industry to pass through integrated certification of the 3 systems once and realize the system-atic, procedural and standardized internal management; on the other hand, it uses "Moutai Beer, brewing a life of lofty taste" as the purpose of its business. It centers on the market and takes the customers as the focus of attention, sticks to the business idea of "customer first, first-class service", sticks to scientific and technolo-gical inno-vation to try to develop series of beer catering to the flavors of consumers in all parts of the country, try all out to create "Moutai Beer, Moutai in beer" on the basis of the require-ment of high starting-point and high-standard and realize the promotion of brand and quality. In order to further expand the size of production, improve propr-ietary develo-pment capacity and competitiveness of the Corporation, in Nov. 2000, the Corporation invested 240 million Yuan in building 100,000 tons Moutai beer production line, which was designed and constructed on the basis of the require-ments of high starting-point, high-standard and advanced technology. The world's first-class beer production equip-ment of Krones AG, Steinecker of Germany and Sasib Corporation of Italy were impo-rted as main equipment of the Corporation so as to realize computer control from the feeding of material, saccharification, fermentation, and filtering and lay solid founda-tion for further stabilizing and improving the product quality and customer satisfaction.
The new Moutai Beer Industrial Park was built alongside the mountain to gather the nimbus of the green mountain. The environment of the plant is beautiful; all kinds of flowers are in blossom in green plants. Green area covers 50% of the plant. The beautiful production environment and spacious, bright modern production plant have attracted visitors and tourists throughout the country. Currently, the Industrial Park has been included as the first tourist industrial park of Zunyi.
So far, the Corporation has 3 modernized beer production lines with 580 staff members. The Corporation has strong technological strength, and has national-level liquor brewing experts and national beer appraisers. In Feb. 2003, the Corporation cooperated with Hubei Beer Brewing College in taking the lead in the beer industry to open college education for the brewing of beer. And it was also the first time that enterprises of Zunyi opened school. Production capacity of the Corporation is planned on the basis of 500,000 tons, and its present production capacity is 150,000 tons/year. In its over 20 years of development, the Corporation has won titles of provincial, municipal and district-level "Unit Trusted by Consumers", "Contract-Performing and Credit-Respecting Unit" of Honghuagang District for 5 successive years, "Contract-Performing and Credit-Respecting Unit" of Zunyi, "Contract-Performing and Credit-Respecting Unit" of Kweichow, as well as civilized unit at the municipal and provincial level, and outstanding enterprise of the national liquor industry, etc.
"Moutai" series of beer is the result of continual development, research and innovation of our Corporation on the basis of the development strategy of "Predominance of one product and development of diversified products" of Moutai (Group), and is also reproduction of the austere, scientific and fault-finding quality spirit of Moutai (Group) Corporation in the field of beer, as well as the outcome of the combination of traditional technique with modern scientific brewing technology. "Moutai" beer is made of fine Australian malt and fine imported flor extract, good-quality sticky rice and the spring of remote mountain with karst relief through unique recipe and brewing technique. The beer looks clear and transparent, yellowish in color, pure and tasty, soft, and the flor has prominent fragrance, the foam is white and delicate, and is favored by consumers. It is designated as product for Dalian International Costume Festival in 2000; in 2001,it was selected by Association of Kweichow Consumers as recommended commodities; in the national beer appraisal organized by the Association of China Brewing Industry in Nov. 2001, Moutai Beer won the title of "China Fine-Quality New Beer"; in Feb. 2003, Moutai beer was conferred the title of "National Quality Inspection Qualification¡ªNational Quality Trustworthy Food" by Association of China Food Industry; in the 5 th National Beer Appraisal organized by Association of China Food Industry and Beer Committee of Association of China Food Industry in Oct. 2003, "Feitian" and "Five Star" Moutai Beer turned out No.1 in total score through the appraisal of national-level appraisers and the inspection of national authoritative inspection institutions, and were conferred "China Beer Famous Innovative Product" and "China Beer Outstanding Innovative Product" respectively.
"Gaoyuan" beer has been the product popular among consumers for long. It won "Famous Beer of Kweichow" in 1983 through its unique flavor and first-class quality, and ever since 1991, it has been appraised as the product trusted by consumers at the provincial, municipal and district level, and has been appraised as fine-quality product of Ministry of Agriculture. In Jun. 1997, through the inspection of national authoritative institution, it was appraised "Famous Product of the National Food Industry" in the national beer appraisal, and its trademark was also appraised "Famous Trademark of Kweichow Province" in Aug. 1998. "Gaoyuan" beer has won the title of "Famous Product of Kweichow Province" for several times. |
