Xi Chiew Corporation is located in Xijiu Town of Xishui County. It is near Erlangtan Ferry at the middle stream of Chishui River where the Red Army crossed Chishui River. It is 50km away from Moutai Distillery. The Corporation covers an area of 2,755 mu with construction area of 350,000m 2 . The Distillery is 10 li in size, and is thus called "10- li Liquor City". Here there is a long history of brewing, and the "medlar sauce liquor" that won the compliment of "sweet and fragrant liquor" by Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty was just made here. Our ancestors had poem for it, "the fragrant liquor moves the steps of people, the smoke is blowing along the lichee beach. Do you know what medlar sauce liquor was in the Han Dynasty that won the visit of Tang Meng."
