| Kweichow Moutai Distillery (Group) Changli Wine Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture established between Kweichow Moutai Distillery Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Tongbao Wine Brewery Co., Ltd. in Changli County, Hebei Province on Jul 30th, 2002. The County was named by the government as ¡°Home of Chinese Wine-brewing Grape¡± and ¡°China¡¯s Wine City¡±. The advantageous natural environment of Changli, vigorous support of local governments at all levels plus the brand of ¡°Moutai¡± have created very good internal and external environment for future development of the wine industry of Moutai. The Corporation uses advanced equipment of France and Italy, and has so far had 73,458.9m2 of plant with annual output of 4,500 tons of finished wine and over 60 million Yuan of fixed assets. Products of the Corporation are made of good wine-brewing grapes of ¡°Chixiazhu¡± and ¡°Xiaduoli¡±, etc. as the raw material, and include over 30 varieties of dry wine, dry sherry and gift series. Currently the Corporation has 39 staff members, 87% of which are graduates of intermediate professional schools and above. The Corporation also hires famous wine expert Mr. Li Hua as the technical advisor to provide technical guidance for our Corporation. Fine geographical environment, fine-quality raw material, advanced equipment and skilled technique have enabled Moutai wine to have relatively high quality in similar domestic products. In order to ensure the quality of the products of the Corporation, we pay attention to the management of all aspects from product design to acquisition of raw materials, to product production, sale and after-service; quality guarantee systems have been set up for all staff members and all aspects and ¡°single-veto¡± system is adopted for quality management. On the basis of the internal technical strength of the Corporation, extensive consultation of the suggestions of experts and scholars, production technology department of the Corporation has designed a set of scientific and complete technical flow for strict implementation in production. Both the quality of products and the quality of work have been effectively controlled. Currently, the Corporation is doing integrated training for the standards of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001. It is estimated that the Corporation will pass the certification of the quality system by the end of this year. Operation idea of the Corporation is ¡°Honesty and credit first, consumer first.¡± As the development and extension of the brand of Moutai, Moutai wine requires that we shall not only ensure that our quality is the best, we shall also try to develop and expand the corporate spirit and culture of Moutai so as to provide consumers with trustworthy products and fine-quality service. And at the same time, we shall look out into the world on the basis of China to develop the Corporation into a famous and modernized international wine enterprise to become ¡°Moutai¡± in the wine industry.
