China Kweichou Moutai Distillery(Group)Co.Ltd — located in Moutai, Renhuai City —situated on the bank of Chishui river in northern Kweichou province, having a total asset of 8.3 billion Yuan(RMB) and more than 7,000 workers till 2004. Moutai is the only Wine & Spirit Company authorized as the National Excellent Entrepreneur. And it is also the only one won Gold Horse Prize — the highest prize for business management in China.
    Kweichou Moutai, along with Scotland Whisky, Cognac Brandy are regarded as the three most famous liquor in the world. It is the key brand of the company, and also is the ancestor of sauce-flavor spirit in China. Kweichou Moutai — originated in Han Dynasty, skilled in Tang & Song Dynasty, sharpened in Yuan & Ming Dynasty — became world famous in Qing Dynasty.
